Easy and Light Sweet Potato Casserole recipe

Ingredients List:
1 40 ounce can of sweet potatoes, drained of syrup
1/3 cup of sugar
½ tsp of salt
¼ cup of fat free egg product
¼ cup of fat free milk
½ tsp of vanilla
Topping:
¼ cup of brown sugar
3 tbsp of flour
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/3 cup of chopped pecans
Directions:
The first thing you are going to do is to heat your oven to 350 degrees. Now you will want to take out a 1 ½-quart casserole dish and spray it with some cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, you are going to mash the sweet potatoes. Then you will want to mix in the sugar, salt, egg product, milk, and vanilla. Once it is mixed well, spoon it into the casserole dish. Take out another mixing bowl and mix all of the topping ingredients together, except the pecans. Once they are mixed, you will put the mixture on the top. Now you can sprinkle the pecans onto the top of the mixture you have just put into the casserole dish. Bake the dish for about 35 minutes, or until it is thoroughly heated.
Once you pull this dish out of the oven you can begin serving it. This recipe makes a great tasting dish that is lower calorie than most other deserts. This is a point that most dieters and health conscious people will really appreciate. The best part of all is that no one else will know this is a lower calorie desert unless you tell them it is. Therefore, you will be able to proudly serve it for any occasion.
