2 1/2 pounds of fresh sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled, and cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
1 medium sized green pepper cut in 1 1/2-inch squares
1 tsp of cornstarch
1 small can of frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup of chili sauce
3 tbsp of honey
2 tbsp of cooking oil

Directions:

Pineapple sauce:

Take out a small pan and combine the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of the pineapple concentrate. You will want to stir it until it is smooth. Now you will stir in the remaining pineapple concentrate, the chili sauce, honey, and oil. Cook it, making sure to stir it constantly, until sauce begins to boil. Boil for about 1 minute.

Kabobs:

The first thing that you will want to do is to take the cooked and cubed ham and thread it, the sweet potatoes, and the green pepper squares on a skewer one at a time. Now you are going to take the fully threaded kabobs and brush them with the pineapple sauce. Take the kabobs and grill them over medium coals for about 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure that you brush them frequently with the sauce as they are grilling.

Once you pull these kabobs off the grill you will be amazed at what a great flavor they have. These kabobs will make the perfect addition to any family barbecue. Not only will these be a favorite with the adults at the barbecue, but the kids will love them too. You can also make these kabobs for a family dinner.
